The professor and member of GTEL teaches in the Telecommunications Engineering course

Prof. Charles Casimiro Cavalcante, from the Teleinformatics Engineering Department (DETI) of the Federal University of Ceará, was elected this Wednesday (07-Feb-2018) as president of the Brazilian Telecommunications Society (SBrT) for 2018-2019. The induction ceremony will happen on 01-Mar-2018.

The SBrT is a forum for discussion and diffusion of knowledge in the area of telecommunications and congregates researchers and professionals of the sector. The Society is responsible for organizing important events, such as the Brazilian Telecommunications Symposium and the International Telecommunications Symposium, for the exchange of information in the sector.
