Curricular structure
How is the course organized?
The curricular structure of the Telecommunications Engineering course has a total minimum load of 3,600 hours of technical formation required for obtaining the engineering diploma in Telecommunications Engineering. The course has a minimum duration of 10 (ten) semesters and a maximum duration of 15 (fifteen) semesters. The technical formation will take place in the day period and, whenever necessary, in the night period (integral regime).
The contents of the curricular components of the undergraduation course, which are classified as basic, professional, especific, and complementary, are distributed among the several courses and activities of its curricular structure, which are delineated in the itens in the following. The curricular structure is composed of 04 (four) thematic cores, in which the curricular components present contents that, sometimes, spread themselves over one or more of the four cores. In order to complete its technical formation, therefore, the student will have to obtain the following load in each of the components below:
- Basic contents core: 1.430 hours;
- Professional contents core: 1.066 hours;
- Especific contents core: 640 hours;
- Professional practice activities core: 464 hours.
