New groups of undegraduate students are welcomed in the 2017’s Week Zero
In March 13, 2017, the Center of Technology will receive the new groups of undergraduate students e will awards certificates to the students with the top scores in 2016 ENEM edition.
This year, the opening lecture of the Week Zero will hbe: “From the lab to the industry – an entrepreneurial view of Engineering”, with the Chemical Engineer José de Sá Parente Junior, at 8:30, in Cândido Pamplona Auditorium (Block 712, Pici Campus).
In the morning, the directors of the Center of Technology and coordinators of undergraduation courses will welcome the students of Civil Engineering; Petroleum Engineering; Renewable Energy Engineering; Environmental Engineering; Metallurgy Engineering; and Chemical Engineering.
In the afternoon, at 14:00, the invited speaker will be civil engineer and Professor Jorge Barbosa Soares. He will talk about “Incompletude Theorems in Engineering” with the students of Electrical Engineering; Production Engineering; Telecommunications Engineering; Computer Engineering; and Mechanical Engineering.
On Tuesday, 14th, each group will be welcomed by their coordinator to receive specific instructions about their courses.
