The professor and member of GTEL teaches in the Telecommunications Engineering course

Prof. André Lima Férrer de Almeida, from the Teleinformatics Engineering Department (DETI) of the Federal University of Ceará, was elected affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC). The result was published by ABC on Monday (11-Dec-2017).

As affiliate member, the professor joins a category created in 2007 for young scientists who have distinguished themselves in their expertise areas. In this category, each ABC regional vice-presidency elects up to five researchers of excellence, with age up to 40 years, to integrate the ABC for a five years term.
